Mathematica Policy Research’s experts offer lessons learned from evaluations of foundation-funded health projects in three articles published in the most recent issue of The Foundation Review, a peer-reviewed journal of philanthropy. In the video below, Senior Researcher Sheila Hoag provides an overview of the articles, which focus on the following evaluations:

  • An evaluation of the KidsWell Campaign, funded by the Atlantic Philanthropies
  • Evaluations of major consumer health advocacy initiatives for the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Atlantic Philanthropies, and the David and Lucile Packard Foundation
  • Evaluations of two state technical assistance programs offered by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation
